• Coaching Philosophy: One should be a teacher first. There is more to coaching than telling players "do as I say", I have a nurturing side to my coaching style, but at the same time I build a strong team culture with discipline and mutual respect. I am always learning and growing in the sport just as our athletes should be.

• Coaching Experience: 41 Years experience, Coaching Levels: NAIA College, High School, Club. 20 years running one of the largest clubs in Wisconsin, Wisconsin Volleyball coaches Hall of Fame inductee, State Championship, Coach 100's of athletes who have gone on to play college volleyball. Have worked along side Olympians, DI Championship Coaches and many more College coaches.

• Did you know?: My whole family is involved in the volleyball world. My husband, Lowell, has been my assistant coach for MANY years, my daughter coaches at Madtown and my granddaughter plays in the program, my son is an Official who retired from coaching.. Off the court, you’ll find me swimming, kayaking and traveling.

I value helping my athletes embrace the process of learning, both physically and mentally, and I want them to love the game of volleyball more at the end of the season than they did at the beginning of the season!

• Coaching Philosophy : I work to create a supportive, positive, and healthy environment and team culture driven by high expectations and open communication, leading players to grow their skills and increase their mental preparedness to compete at the highest level. Most importantly I hope that players have fun and that I can instill a passion for the game of volleyball.

• Coaching Highlights: Badger Region Volleyball Association, Special Advisor to the Board 2003-2008, Badger Region Volleyball Association, Commissioner/President of the Corporation 2001-2003, Badger Region Volleyball Association, Secretary 1999-2001, & the first Southwest Representative 1995-1999, part of the transition from Great Lakes in 1994 to the Badger Region. Received the 2000 USAV Robert L. Lindsay Meritorious Service Award.
